Inspired by Shokupan from Japan and Roti-Tawar from Indonesia, this vegan white sourdough is made with coconut milk and coconut oil and is light with an aroma and flavor that is distinctive to any other milk bread.
Ingredients : bread flour, coconut milk, coconut oil, water, wild yeast, sugar, sea salt.
Note: Each product may differ slightly in shape, size and color as all our products are developed using artisanal methods. Stated weight are the weight of raw dough before baked. Most raw dough will lose 10-15% of water weight after the bake.
Barō Bakery is an artisanal bakery located in Pererenan, Bali which specializes in mostly sourdough based bread and pastry while using sustainable ancient grain flour. Emerson Manibo, co-founder and baker honed his skills baking at fine dining in New York’s Per Se to the most influential sourdough bakery at San Francisco’s Tartine Bakery. It was through his baking journey and travels that enabled him to develop modern baked goods while honoring a craft that is centuries old.

Delivery 6 days a week Monday to Saturday
Orders received before 8AM will be delivered the same day before 5PM with for the following minor exceptions:
– Orders for Starter Lab before 8PM to be delivered the following day before 5PM; and
– Orders for Jiva Creations before midnight to be delivered the following day before 5PM.
Orders received on Saturday after 8AMand on Sunday will be delivered on the following Monday before 5PM.
