There are a few beloved dishes that are traditional for the Lebaran dinner or lunch. One of these is Opor Ayam, chicken braised in coconut milk. Today, we will walk through the steps so you can make it at home.
Ingredients
1 tsp Maseko chicken stock powder
“Bumbu Halus”
Instructions

Heat the oil and sauté the “Bumbu Halus” until you smell a fragrant aroma.

Add galangal, lemon grass, bay leaves, and lime leaves.

After the seasoning is ready, add the chicken and wait until it is cooked.

Pour in the milk and let it boil.

Add coconut milk, tamarind water, and eggs.

Remove after the chicken is perfectly cooked.

Serve warm with chili sauce to make it even better.
